Lets Swap Tests helps UK learner drivers find compatible driving test swaps, message accepted swap partners, and book optional guided swap support. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how it is used.

Who we are

Information we collect

We collect information needed to provide the app and guided support service, including:

your first name or contact name;
your booked driving test centre, date, and time;
your preferred swap window and search preferences;
swap requests you send or receive;
messages exchanged with accepted swap partners;
phone number when you book guided call support;
payment status for guided support bookings;
anonymous app user identifiers used to keep your saved data linked to your app session.

How we use your information

We use your information to:

save and display your test details;
find compatible swap matches;
send, receive, accept, cancel, and close swap requests;
enable messaging after a swap request has been accepted;
book and manage guided call support slots;
record whether guided support has been paid for;
allow our staff to support scheduled guided calls;
respond to support and privacy requests.

Payments

Guided support payments are handled by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers or bank details in the app. Stripe may process payment information under its own privacy policy. We store payment status so the app and staff dashboard can show whether a guided support booking has been paid.

Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal data. We only share or process data where needed to run the service, including Firebase for app data storage and authentication, Stripe for payments, and hosting providers for the website and support systems.

Messages and safety

Messaging is only available after a swap request is accepted. Users should not share private or sensitive information in messages. Guided support is offered to help learners coordinate without meeting strangers or sharing unnecessary personal data.

Data retention

We keep data only for as long as needed to provide the service, handle support queries, maintain operational records, and comply with legal or accounting requirements. Completed, cancelled, and self-managed swaps may be archived for operational reporting.

Your choices

You can request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information by contacting support@letsswaptests.co.uk. Some records may need to be retained where required for legal, fraud prevention, payment, or accounting purposes.

Children

The app is intended for learner drivers. It is not aimed at children under 13.
